All of these determine how a cam behaves.

I'm aware of this. And I'm not talking all out race setups. I'm talking the average joe who sticks a cam in his LS1. I see many more get better results from a Futral grind than from a Comp grind. Seems very hit and miss on Comp's repeatability.
