Just installed Fast 92/92 set and having problem's
Just finished the install and the car is idleing at 2 grand. The idle would drop and go back to normal but when I push the gas the car would cost and it's an M6. I don't even have to push the gas because once I do to take off it drive's by itself. I don't know what the hell is wrong or what we did wrong. PLEASE HELP

you swapped the bolts on the valley cover right? Check the IAC solenoid, and for obvious vacuum leaks (the HVAC line, brake booster, MAP sensor). Check the TB blade to make sure it is closing all the way with the throttle cable hooked up, then check the TB itself. I tried using a TPIS TB and it just wouldnt idle, it was letting in too much air. I had the same problem as you almost, and switched to a bluemaxx and the problem was solved.

It could be a number of things. It's possible your computer & IAC need a little time to figure out the extra air being available. It could fix on its own or you might try an IAC reset.
The other potential is an air leak around the manifold, tb, or the throttle body is allowing more air than normal around the blade. You can spray some carb cleaner to find a leak or try adjusting the idle set screw to close the blade a little.

Check your map sensor too, sometimes they come out or aren't sealed properly. Fast intake doesn't really hold the map sensor in very well. You can tap the intake with a barbed fitting and then run some vaccum hose off of the barbed fitting and sticking the map sensor in the other end. Thats what i did, and haven't any problems.

You need adjust the idle on the throttle body. If you are idling at 2K and it takes time for it to drop to normal then you need to back the idle screw down on the throttle body. Vacuum leaks can cause it too but I would start with the idle adjustment first.

I agree, when i put on the FAST 90/90, my cold start up would shoot to 2k, then finally settle down. Doug at ECS readjusted IAC settings more t compensate the additional air. He said he was surprised because I was already below stock settings but he also said you have to follow what the car wants. been fine ever since.
