At what point do i need RR?

At what point do i need RR? ok i have a 1999 Ta H/C 346 100 shot etc... when do i need RR and what benifit i tryed to search but all i get is what type is best ,vs etc... or if any did a better search then me a link would be fine thankx
With a shaft mount you get better stability at high rpm's. And with adjustables you can control the preload and wipe pattern.
An old SLP ad claimed like 10 or 20 hp. And tony mammo did a 383 build and at the end put on a set of RR's and gained a nice little amount of power. I'd have to look it up in the dyno forum.
