), but all in all, it's an awesome DD cam. I believe the key is in the tune....we had problems at first, but took our time and ironed them all out. That is similar to a MS3 but 110 LSA, 108 ICL, notice though that it carries way further than 6300, that is a mid/big cam
If you want something witha flat trq curve like that here is one:
230/230 .612/.592 111+2 LSA
2200>6600 rpm, peak 6200 with LS6 intake, shift 6500/6600,
If you like I can give you the specs, one of the best medium "all around" cams.
Another is TSP 228R, which they cut on 112+2LSA, but I like it better on a 111+3 LSA
Cannot be further fro the truth. Cam specs are not only .050 picture. You have to take into consideration lobes, other lifts, ICL and all the VEs to properly visualise what the cam can do. When you design a cam, you first have to decide on a power range to tailor your VEs.
TR230/224 is a good street cam for poeple not wanting to rev to the moon, 6300 rpm shifts. It has great VEs for cam only applications on stock headed motors.

How would this cam do with PRC 2.5 5.3L heads?

And dosen't advance ground in lower the DCR?
OP sorry if I am hijacking but figured this is along the lines of your question.

3036r is a 230 lobe XFI exhaust
The way they will come out depends on how well the grinder calibrated his machine on that day. Not only calibration affects the duration, but lifts and LSA/ICL as well.
You can check the lobes on Comp Cam Master Lobe Catalogue.
In any case, that is a good grind, I use mine with XE-R exhaust. You'll be happy
