I don't think you are gonna **** any body off but here ya go with my .02.

Oiling is one of the big weaknesses of these cars. I can't remember the name but there is an aftermarket windage tray I have seen on here that is supposedly way better than stock. Oil cooler will also help for sustained rpms.

If $$$ no object a dry sump system is for SURE the way to go (several grand IIRC).

Take it FWIW but the road race guys now run LS6 blocks instead of LS1's cause they don't have the oil starvation probs that the LS1 did probably due the windows cast in the block to enhance better bay to bay breathing. I am just trying to help but don't take this as gospel.

BTW I love it!!! A LS1 in a 240 will be a NASTY BEAST no matter what you do with it

Thank you thats actually alot of help.. the engine has the possiblity of being a motor built from the ground up later on if i keep with this hobby long enough but for right now ls1 will do fine... the info i got from other drifters was.. Oil coolers with electric fans.. larger radiator electric fans as well.. another drifter mentioned even on a N/A car having an small intercooler will help as well not sure anyone verify this???.. also header wraps and or jackets
