Default what is the difference between the different years of headers?

if I got headers that were made for a 2000 car and put them on my 2001 would that work? What is the difference? I've noticed some headers seperate between 98-99 and 2000-2002 together and some have (jet hot for example) 98-99, 2000, and 2001-2002.

The difference is the location of the AIR tubes and lack of EGR on some.

If they're race style headers, any 98-02 will work for you. If you are keeping emissions, take care to get the correct ones.

I think I will tune the emissions stuff out. I am getting a good deal on a package but the headers are for a 2000 car. My car is a 2001. Not sure if I should just do the deal. How much to correct the problem or is it just not going to work?

If you're removing your emissions, then any set of headers will work. If the 2001 headers you found are race style, then great. If they have emissions fittings, then you will just need to cap off the tubes on the headers. Not a big deal.
