Different connecting rods!!
Different connecting rods!! ok guys & gals! i bought a 99 SS ls1 block with a spun rod, so last week i had another connecting rod come from a guy off of ls1tech! got the rod friday, checked it with my other rods, & it was a bit different! ok i need some pix, & these rods actually in front of me, so i dont sound like a retard, but anyways, on my rods there r some #'s stamped on there, left side (i think) says 143, dunno for sure, & on the right side rw, i think. ok, on his the left side says 143, or the same as mine does, & the right says rm! now i might have them bass ackwards, but im pretty sure thats right! oh yeah, didnt get any bolts with his connecting rod, but my connecting rods wouldnt fit too far into his, also his rod came outta 2000 C5 vette! any help would be appreciated, let me know what i could, or should do! thanks! try to get pix in a few days, if that would help!
