I do not see why it would not. The LS7 as a whole crate engine is available from GM Performance Parts. I see no reason why they would not sell their newest Corvette's supercharger once the car debut's in showrooms.

That would suck to kill off such a monster of a car because the economy is bad. There are plenty of rich guys that will buy this car. LOL. Thank god I am not a GM share holder...............

Globalization resulted in the eventual trade deficit, which occured because regulation was dismantled by the policies of the republican party and ultimately led the american economy to the grave. I'm afraid this has come arund to bite GM in the *** as they were strong supporters and they probably wont be selling as much on the top end because the bad economy has in turn decimated their otherwise good profits. It's a shame really and the lack of patriotism shown by those in power from 2000-2006 is not just dishonorable but criminal.

Even when GM was loosing money selling its corvette at points in history they continued to make them because at car shows it would attract buyers and they would be more likely to buy their lower end vehicles. However GM may not have the funds to continue this course of action anymore so we'll have to wait and see. now that GM is in a bad spot they are trying to get congress to pass a bill to keep them afloat.

Might have to wait a bit for that supercharger. If it does come out soon i'm sure it will be rather pricey for what you get. That would be sick though

That rumor has been proven false. There's a thread about it in the lounge
