Looking for recommendations on someone to port a FAST 92. Been researching intakes for awhile now and have various threads to help me chose an intake and I feel the Fast is the most likely choice for my setup. I have 3 names in mind, Mamo, Vengence, and Fasterproms. I have heard great things about all 3. I also like the idea of Vengence has the painted option. Although I like the 1100 price from Fasterproms and just leave it unpainted. Let me know what you got. Feel free to Pm me info as well. Thanks.
Well we took my friends apart once he got his back from a famous fast intake porter on this website and I just copied what he did and matched the runners to my heads... Some porting looked like it didnt need to be done in spots, but was anyways. So i ported it myself and came out perfect for me, just a little time consuming. I would post pictures but I wouldntwant to hurt their business of porting intakes

Do it yourself, it's not that difficult, just time consuming. You can port match to your heads , which no one else can do. There are a few threads that show the complete process, including detaied pictures.
After dyno testing several different ported intakes we decided to let JeremeF port the intakes we sell out of our shop. They work great & he's a good guy to deal with. I haven't been able to test Tony Mamo's intake, but I heard it was nice also!!

I agree. I currently use a LS7 intake that was ported by Jeremy with a 90mm TB that was ported by Tony. We have a new 92mm Fast intake that came with porting from Vengence but have not installed or tested it yet on a friend's engine. All are reputable porters. I have also ported several intakes myself as I have an extensive background in engine building, cylinder head porting and flow testing. Good luck.

Thanks guys, after talking with Ron and Mike from Vengeance I have decided to give them a shot. I will be ordering before the end of the year to get the holiday discounts. Just need to figure out what color to have it painted. Any recommendations? Mike said the black looks killer but with a black car was thinking of maybe doing something other than black? I have not seen a Vengence painted intake of any color so it is hard to make a decision. Thanks again for all the help and input from everyone.

That looks great. Thanks for the pic. I am thinking of not painting it cause I am afraid it will just get ruined over time. Car is not a show car even though I like things to look very clean, I do work on the car alot and would just be afraid of scratching it?? Maybe I would be better off unpainted?
Don't worry about scratching it, I painted a FAST 90 without any issues. That engine bay was cleaned with a high pressure hose weekly. Worse case scenario it takes 20 mins to pull the intake and another 10mins to prep and spray. That was with a basic outdoors paint. The manifold doesn't get that hot.
However, if you want it paint matched to the car, I would have somebody else do it. Preferably the company you purchase it through.
... a Fast 90 painted black will pass as an LS6 intake to the untrained eye. A handful of locals couldn't tell the difference with two cars parked next to each other.
