I have a dumb question. The LS3 heads, will they directly bolt up to the LS1 block, or would I have to have the pistons bored over to make sure that the valves clear? Thanks

The L92/LS3 heads require at least a 4 inch bore. BTW: You don't bore pistons.

I believe Nick Williams can make one up or Tracy at Rev Extreme. That's my plan anyways.

At my rate they'll be on the market by the time I get to that phase of the project. The body work would have been completed months ago, if I had gotten up to ACP with the headlights and some of the other needed parts.

I finally made it up there the other day to drop off the headlights and parts and go over the paint details.

Good news for the LS2 I guess... would these heads/intake be a big improvement over the 243s/LS2 intake manifold?
