Default Lsx 427

I am gona build a lsx 427 with ported ls7 heads and a mild cam. The cr will be around 11-1 or so . My question is how much hp will it make at the tire . The car is a 99 Transam with a m6.

Yup, port the manifold and you will probably be closer to 550 depending on the dyno of your choice.

Or should I do a 408 with l92 heads and a vortech t trim ?

uh........what do you want the car to do? there are millions of combos you could build on a given budget OR a given purpose...we need to know what YOU want the CAR to do.

i suggest you search around the site a little more, specifically in the Dyno results section. you might be able to find the info you're looking for.

Like stated ubove...........with a M6 you will be anywhere from 500-550 at the wheel.

The smaller cammed ls7 will put out around 525rwhp, the larger cammed beasts w/ higher comp. and good quench are making 560-590rwhp. These are stock engines w/ headers/cam/mild-headwork. This is using a stock LS7 intake/t-body. The #s are repeatable all day long. I saw one make 511rwhp w/ the stock 211/230 .588 cam and milled heads
