Default Single or dual cutouts???

I am debating on put in 2 DMH Low profile cutouts in the Y-pipe after the cats or a single 3" after the Y. How much power diffrence between the two locations on a 416 Stroker? Mods are in my sig.

probably not much if any power difference (maybe 5 hp) but it will be much louder if you have 2 in the y. the closer to the headers, the louder its going to be.

do the single. cheaper, easier, cleaner job, and the power difference will be next to nothing, if any at all. Plus if one ever fails you'll have to get a new one before you can open them BOTH up to do a hard run.

I would guess there would be no extra power with two cut-outs. Might make a slight difference if your boosted or running a lot of nitrous.

I'd go with one.

So just put a 3" cutout in the I pipe... Or go 3.5" off the y-pipe to a 3.5" cutout then necked back down to 3"
