The header would be the same but the flange where it meets the head is not the ls1 head is round port the ls7 is D-port. we have made these for customers but you would have to call us its not something we stock

thanks for the info but leads to another question since the round flange can fit will there be any adverse affects to not fitting the proper flange to the engine?

Yes they will fit but they are not correct to the application. I would think at the least they will create some turbulence(sp) and disrupt signal stregth. GM went to the D port for a reason and made D port manifolds for the same reason because they work. If thet did'nt the could have put LS3 manifolds on the ZO6. To get the car running yes they will work if your looking to optimize the combo you spent all that money on get the correct parts

Do your LS7 headers have the d port on them?

i have ar 1/78 headers.they are nice but they dont fit good on pass side by starter.they they hitt stock starter.i have msd starter (12-1 comp) and had to smash them to fit it is still close.i called them and they said it was because of my block/heads being milled.but if you were to see them on the car milling should make them fit better.bottom line the tube near starter must looked at a should of been made (spaced)better.

Talking tals7

my heads were milld not sure how much have to check file that builder still has.i know they went from stock ls7 to like 64 or65cc.the 2002 ta they are in has not been hit ever and has low miles.when i did the mock up out of car with stock starter the tube was on the starter(could not fit dollar bill between).not really a big deal but when i put on my msd (it is slightly bigger) i had to manipulate that tube.it looks like the milling(lower header placement) would give me more room as aposed to going up.all in all no big deal sweet headers i always buy arh they are good.there is a few other things just pm for that. arh kick ***
