Help Me Chose Some Heads...

I have been looking at some LS7 heads for my 440 LS7 built by LME.
I wanted to go with ALL PRO LS7 WCCH but i got a quote from them for 3200$ just for the bare castings!!! And almost 5k compleat! They flow 404 @ .700" w/ a 4.125 bore. Thats not happening because of the 5k price tag!
So i did look at ETP LS7 41" heads and they are nice but they do not flow as well as TSP PRC heads. The ETP GIII 265 41 are nice but it might starve my 440 of some power...
Does anyone else offer some heads that have similar flow charts like the LS7 by ALLPRO and PRC?
My motor is a 440ci 12:1cr. I am going to have Marcella make my manifold.

Since when did flow numbers become the only determinant of power output?
Do some more research dude. IMO you need to talk to a proper respected engine builder and tell them what your application is and what you want from it, then go with their recomemndation.

Call LME as requested above. They will guide you down the right path to make power... Dont get caught up in flow #s either... Way too many variances to judge a head just by flow #s.
FWIW, we have built several 440 LS7s with TFS 245s and made anywhere from 585 to 615 depending on camshaft/compression. This is thru a FAST intake as well that has shown its a bottle neck at this kind of power level.

Our PRC LS7 cylinder heads certainly offer excellent flow. As stated, the flow of a set of heads is not your only determining factor. We have built quite a few LS7-headed setups, and we can certainly help you with your existing project. Our stock short-block '06 Z06 makes 604 RWHP with our LS7R camshaft and PRC LS7 cylinder heads. ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
Feel free to give us a call, and we will be happy to go over your available options. We do sell other heads besides PRC should you want to go that route. However, unless you're looking for a thick deck head setup for a serious power-adder, I can't imagine why you would want to.![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
