LS3 Swap questions

ok im about to start piecing together an LS3 swap into my SS...i already have most of it the only thing im needing is the block and a few other tiny things like injectors and an intake and such....has this been done? i have a list of questions that i need answered and hopefully i can get them on here

i have heard the knock sensors are different..how can i go about that?

any other sensors that are different and i cant just swap over?

What can i do about changing reluctor wheels to work with my LS1 sensor and computer?

Will my LS1 fuel rail fit on the LS3 intake? gonna have to buy aeromotive or some such??

Tranny bolt straight up?

Throttle body setup???

Exhaust wise...can i use some LS7 Manifolds and get them to work with my FBody catless ypipe?

LS1 water pump bolt to an LS3 block? much less will all my accessories bolt up?

any other input on anything i havnt listed please let me know...im going to be selling my WHOLE LS1 longblock out of my car if anyone is interested also only 23k miles

You can reuse the LS1 knock sensors, they just mount in a different location and you will need an extension harness.

Cam sensor converter, knock sensor extension harness, reluctor wheel converter.

You either need the Lingenfelter trigger box (which includes a cam sensor converter) or you can physically change the reluctor wheel. [/QUOTE]

No. I went with the OEM LS2 fuel rail. Generally, an LS2 style fuel rail should work.

You need to run a larger throttle body that will fit on the LS3 intake. You can use a stock LS3 unit if you convert to drive by wire, or you can just get a good aftermarket cable driven throttle body.

No idea since LS7 headers were designed to work in a C6. My Pacesetter LTs bolted right up, however.

All f-body LS1 accessories will bolt right up.

Search the site heavily, there are a few of us that have LS3 based fourth gens. Good luck with you decide on doing.

u can get a 90-92mm tb that will work with ls3 intake for less than 300$
either one will work, also its better to go with aftermarket rails.
