Still have found nothing. If i could get the Harrop for even 3k i would be happy.
I do not need the computer. all i need is the manifold, fuel rails, and linkages.

$2,073.00 US$ Delivered.

From the US distributor. So $73 more to crush a sheet metal intake.

Jesse Bubb picked up 61 hp over his Wilson intake on his LSX 454ci. Just an intake swap.

.
I have to call bullshit on that. If you can get me a Harrop 55mm intake for $2073, i'll give you a $350 finder fee.

I just emailed them last week:

$4343 delivered from Australia with a 1-2 week lead time.

$3880 delivered from US warehouse with 5-7 week lead time.

No air box/filter set up is available. Not only that, but they no longer have the plate connecting the trumpets like you've seen. They offer a polishing option, i'm still waiting on a price, for the trumpets now:

Thank you 2000_SS,

With this unfo the Harrop is out of my shopping list as it can't be use on the street...and if I choose to go the racing intake way i will not buy this one.

BTW...this is the kind of serious ITB i will put the money on...and the air box is fitting under the hood providing a perfect seal and a filtered air:

If they raised the prices since I got my price I haven't heard about it. $2,073 is the price they gave me, sorry, maybe they jacked'em up.

Very very expensive. Won't make any more power than the Harrop can.

Probably like the Kinsler ITB's for the LS1/LS7....they cost over $10,000.

First one is the Kinsler LS1...the other two are LS7 styles.

that carbon piece IS a Kinsler setup, custom built for a C5R if i remember right and IS around $10K.

LS6427, They Harrop's prices fluctuate daily with exchange rates. You were incorrect about the price, but you weren't wrong Back in February/March-ish this year, the AUD was about $0.62 per USD. Now, it's up around $0.84 and our dollar is getting weaker thanks to...well, let's not make this a political thread...suffice it to say the Harrop is more costly than ever before AND aside from exchange rate fluctuations, i think they DID raise the price of them.

miami993c297, i wouldn't discount the Harrop until the day you're ready to buy. The price could come down quite a bit. Air filters for them aren't too bad to come up with, Kinsler makes some that fit on each individual trumpet IIRC...As for street driving, it's ALL IN THE TUNE. If/When i get one, it WILL be street driven. The tune is the hard part to shop for as next to nobody tunes ITB intake cars very often. Then again, i don't blame you one bit for not going with a Harrop. ITB's are best for big motors, but not necessarily worth the coin vs. a nice sheetmetal intake or say...a blower

You might look into these guys, although pricing isn't much different: http://extrudabody.com/

i think the vic jr with the 4500 is the way to go. Just get it ported and use a carb plate, they would be good for a 200 shot. Or you can get the jr. plumbed for dp.

google "john marcella" and check out his sheetmetal intakes...i'm thinking about having him build one for my 454. He said they usually run $3000-$3300 for LS engines.

I know John, he is a good man.
I have been talking to him about my intake options but I am still deciding what to exactly do.

I have talked to Michael Hewitt about the Harrop Performance intake and heres the price quote:

Pricing is as follows...

Hurricane intake, 55mm: $3850

LS1/LS7 transition spacers: $675/pair

And about $350 for shipping and rush if you want it in 1-2 weeks, if not it takes about 5-7 weeks.
