Default Ls7 Oil Temp Sensor [Where?]

As above where is it on the LS7?

Im guessing its on the Oil tank.

I don't know what year the vette is or if this is a conversion. The sensor is at the bottom of the oil tank. If this is a vette you remove the RF tire and get to it from the back of the wheel liner.

It's in the bottom of the tank. If you are doing that, you can use it with a 5-volt reference signal, just like your stock water temp gauge...you can run the signal into it with a switch and go back and forth with it. I did not...I used an adapter, I think M16x1.5 (? - can't remember) into the LS7 tank opening (for the switch) for a standard Autometer sender. The gauge is hidden inside the LH A/C vent. Take care.
