Default kooks 3.5in y pipe question

I need a y pipe for a set of Kooks 3.5in collectors. It seems noone has any 3.5in y pipes. Im sure someone has ran into this before. What are my options as I do not want a true dual setup. Its way to loud for my car. I'm planning on running a Magnaflow Catback alont with an y pipe. I just cant find one anywhere. Thx

Be careful with this. I too needed a 3.5 inch y-pipe which Kooks offered. I was just about ready to pull the trigger and buy the thing when I seen one on here for sale awhile back. Well in looking at the pictures I came to find out that all Kooks were doing was taking their 3 inch y and flaring the header ends of it up to a 3.5! What a waste of money since it is not truely a 3.5 y-pipe that they lead you to believe.....................

Edelbrock has one for thier headers. Same as the above post though; only flared to 3.5" at the end and the rest is 3".

I think they do it for clearance reasons. They even "sandwhich" the drivers side down a little for clerance. American Racing does the same thing with their y-pipe. They told me there are cars going 8's with that Y, so it must get the job done.

Unless something has changed, the Kook's 3.5" is only 3.5" at the collector mating point and varies in size for the outlet, but, the LH / RH pipes to the merge are 3". The Edelbrock is 3" for everything except the collector mating points which are 3.5".

Build your own with some oval pipe from Dr. Gas or BSRProducts.
