One of my friends just finished blowing his water pump and needs one to get his car up and running ASAP. I have a spare LS1 C5 pump in my garage and told him he can use it till he gets his EWP.

Would my LS1 C5 water pump fit his LS2 C6?
Would we need to get additional parts to make it work?

A quick response would be appreciate as this is his daily driver.

 

I think it would be fine. Belt offset should be the same. The t-stat may be different depending on the year but it should get you by.
