Angry LS3 Throttle Bodies

Where are you guys, who need the cable driven TB, getting them from? I am trying to build my LSA/LS3 setup and every TB I find is electric

I don't need anything pretty or special right now, just something cheap to get my build going. I go to school so the budget is tight. I just want to find a cheap OEM TB.

End Rant/

a Nick Williams or Holley would work great for you. the Holley is a beautiful piece and works fantastic. i had one on my old motor.

there are no GM 90mm cable TBs. GM switched to DBW for LS2+

Ahhh I see... Thanks for the info Bro!

I am looking into a 95mm Janzter Motorsports unit, TPIS 90mm and a 90mm FAST. Just waiting on replies from the sellers.

We offer a Wilson 95mm TB and will be offering their 105mm when it is ready. $385 to your door. This is not a copy (cheap or otherwise) but the original. Wilson designed the FAST intake and is a leader in EFI technology and products. We offer thier complete lineup as quality is very important to us.

Isn't the 105mm out already? Thunder racing has it advertised, Guess that doesn't mean it's out, But they have it on their site with "NEW" next to it with a price.

Not really the std ls3 intake is 93.5 mm it can be made to fit by milling out the opening and the rubber gasket and running another flat gasket but you will still have a small lip on the intake someone will have a crack at it but it just doesn't look like it will be a good fit.

I measured this up last week to try and fit up a 102 on the same intake and have decided to go with a 92mm NW instead.

cheers

No worries I asked the same question off a mate and he gave me the 93.5 and we checked it with a manifold as I was offered a 102 for an ok price.

hmmmm
In installation manual for new ls376 engines says that maf must be installed in 100mm intake tube...Why says 100 and not 93.5mm? Do we need some adapter?

The diameter of the tube the MAF is installed in affects the calibration. The coupler you connect the tube to the TB with will accomodate for any difference between that and the throttle body itself.

If you put the MAF in a smaller or larger diameter tube it'll mess up the air fuel ratio and spark advance delivered to the engine unless you re-calibrate the sensor with tuning software.

I'd just get a normal coupler and stretch/clamp it on.
