EV1 injectors problem on LS3 intake!

Default EV1 injectors problem on LS3 intake!

Hi, I bought a set of spacers and o-rings(kit from Katech) to fit EV1(LS1) injectors into LS2/LS3 manifold and LS2 fuel rails. I have a LS3 manifold with LS2 Professional Products fuel rails, but with the spacers the fuel rails still don't sit on the manifold. With the injectors sit in the fuel rails and in manifold at the maximum deep, it still remain a good 5/16 in. The spacers are .500" long. Also the o-rings when install on the injectors in the Ls3 intake, are pretty easy to sit in the hole, a little more hard than the LS1 o-rings, but easy to sit in the manifold compare to a LS6 intake for example, I don't know if its normal. Do you have any clue about my problem? Thanks

Here's a picture.

That kit was never meant to do that. The kit you have is to install LS1 injectors into an LS2 manifold with LS2 rail.

I've read the topic L92/L76/LS3 Engine Into 99-02 F-Body. This said that LS2/LS3/L76 fuel rail were the same.. so I buy a LS2 rail. The Professional Product is suppose to be a direct replacement of the LS2 stock unit?
And also "If you use the taller EV1 Injectors (LS1 style) you'll need a spacer kit from Katech". So I bought your LS2 conversion kit because LS2 are supposely the same as LS3 rail...

So what I had missed?

What is my solution to resolve my problem, any kit for my application or I need make some custom brackets to hold my fuel rail?

And I want to make sure I have the right o-rings to fit my EV1 injectors in my LS3 intake.

You have the right o-rings, but you'll need to make your own bracket or a longer spacer.

The LS2 and LS3 fuel rails are the same, however, the LS3 injector is oh, about the space between your rail and the spacer shorter than the LS2 injector.

So, there's no kit to fit EV1 Injectors to a LS3 Manifold with LS2 rails? Anybody had fit EV1 on LS3 intake before??? Do everybody do custom brackets/spacers?

Yes, we just make them up in house here. You also have to tweek the fuel rail to get everything lined up properly.

I suppose they are spacers for stock ls2 rails, but I have Professionnal Products LS2 rails. I think I'll try to make bigger brackets to match my katech spacers. I'll keep your shop in mind if I change my mind.. thanks !

those are taller. they are made to put an LS1 injector (tall) onto the LS7 rail, which normally uses the shortest injector that gm puts on the LS engines. it stands to reason that they would work instead of the LS2 style, because the LS2 injector is not that much shorter than the LS1....esp when compared to the LS3/7/92 injector.
