DMH all the way, easy to work with, American made in-house. Nice to call up and talk to someone who is actually making the product. They stand behind their products 100%.

I've go the DMH low profile like pictured above. I've put around 25,000 miles on them and open and close them regularly. No problems whatsoever.
These things are really nice.

How many of u are choking back over 700 rwhp? I wonder if they last longer behind a turbo as there isn't as much pulsing.

I am over 700RWHP and haven't had any problems. I run a 3.5" round. I don't think the pressure pulse theory is holds much weight with an open path through the exhaust system, at least I don't see how.

I see that Badlandz offers a 5 year limited warranty, is the DMH 4 warranty limited or all inclusive?

Then again, you can't argue with the kind of service RsSean got

They also said if they can't fix it that they would send me a new one for free. That has to bethe best customer service out there that I know of.

DMH

picked up 4hp an 4tq on top of my dual 2.5" exhaust.

I just wish I bought the low profile cause of clearance issues.

WKMCD-I love that setup....As for me I run a 3" DMH round e-cutout. Have had no problems, it will go from full closed to full open in 3 seconds. I am at 650rwhp and I am not sure about the detonation factor with it closed but I am running LT's, ORY, and a magnaflow. On the dyno, the results are surprising, and cutout open vs closed I pick up 25rwhp. You were asking about options, only thing I can think of, that is cheap, is an old fashion cable driven manual cutout.

I've had the qtp cut out with my borla for more than 6 years without it ever failing. I open and close it quite often. To date it is my favorite mod that I've done for my car. Well, except maybe the nitrous, but the most useful when it comes to making it more streetable and quiet when I need it.

I dont get why some say that they have gotten several years out of an electric cutout but all the ones that I have seen last a year tops. What are the driving habits? Does a certain type of fuel kill them? You guys having success running them behind a cat or something?

Just for the cool factor, I wonder if the Badlandz wireless remote control will work on the DMH?

My QTP's fall apart about every 3 months, I've been running them on my vehicles for around 8 years. They always break...They are fun and sound cool but my conclusion is: CRAP, GARBAGE...I might switch to DMH's.
