Best electric cut out????

Best electric cut out????
Unlike many of the guys on here, I hate hearing the exhaust. Unfortunately, I like going fast. Switching over to a turbo setup really helped to quiet the car down but with a mandrel bent 4" exhaust thru a Magna Flow 4" bullet, I still think there is some room for improvement.
On the old true dual 3" exhaust. I experimented with baffles. I had flanges welded on to the dumps and had baffles that I could bolt on. This dramatically (like stock) reduced the volume of my exhaust but restricted the motor so bad that even 50% throttle would bring on detonation. For normal driving around town, this was bareable but it was too much of a pain in the *** to take them off. So no spur of the moment racing.
So what I am looking to do now is to get this thing quieted down some more by adding some sort of remote controlled baffle. My experience with the electric cut outs has not be good. It seems like the butterfly valves rattle loose off the shaft or the motors quit. I would love to find a reliable cutout and put some holes in the blade (to be semi permiable) and attach it on the end of my exhaust. The problem is, do they even come in 4" and if they do, how much are they?
Also interested to see and hear about any methods that others have used to quiet/restrict their exhaust remotely.

From what I've heard from other guys on my local forum, DMH is the way to go. Personally, I am currently running a DMH e-cutout and I have roughly 15K miles with it so far. The only problem I had with the cutout was the wire being burnt from the exhaust heat due to improper installation by one of the guys who was working on my car. I don't have any personal experience with the QTP e-cutouts but I've heard better things about the DMH e-cutout, which is why I chose to get a DMH cutout.

There is a difference between QTP's 90 day promised to break anywhere on the 91st-366th day verse DMH's 4 year warranty and rarely every breaks, cutouts. Plus DMH's opens and closes much faster.

I run a QTP for years now. QTP makes a 4" cutout an i know they have made an inline valve with a special butterfly plate to quiet down the exhaust. Call them and ask about it.

DMH does have a 4" cut out. You are basically going to have to use a very quiet somewhat restrictive exhaust system (like stock) and then use the cut-out to bypass it when needed.

DMH cutouts are the best out there. Mine just quit working in 8 years, I called them up earlier today and told them what happened to it. They told me to ship it to them and they would fix it for free. Keep in mind that the warranty is only good for four years. They also said if they can't fix it that they would send me a new one for free. That has to bethe best customer service out there that I know of.
