Default max lift on stock ls2 bottom with TFS heads

thinking of purchasing a set of TFS 225 CNC heads. what is the max. cam lift you can run with a set of these heads on a stock bottom end ls2?

Lift means zip. Max lift on the cam is when the piston is close to BDC. A better question is "How much overlap"? and even that will only get you so close.

I had TFs (unmilled 64cc) on my LS2.

238/240 .609 112LSA Comp Cams off the shelf grind.

I had a ton of PVC.

The 13.5* valve angle on a TFS head will give you more PTV clearance than a OEM 15* head.Talk to a vendor on here and they can tell you what works.

FWIW duration, LSA and and advance on he cam side affect PTV. Milling, Valve size and HG thickness also affect PTV greatly. IMO it is better to run a smaller cam that allows you to mill to achieve a higher DCR in the 8.2-8.4 range...
