Default Ls3 manifold on a L92?

Is it worth the trouble, has any one tried to machine a fitting to angle the throttle body up, or would this compromise the air flow, as in my application I have made a lower mount for the alternator and located a new idler for the belt above it, so I might be able to make it work.

It will look better with the car manifold for sure! You may have to touch up a spot on the water pump for the throttle body to clear but its no big deal.

Power wise it wont make any difference. Ive seen an engine dyno grpah of the L92 vs the LS3 and I couldnt tell them apart.

People will come on and say "The truck makes torque and the car makes power".

From what I've read the truck intake falls off after 6000RPM compared to the LS3 but its minor not major. Port the LS3 and the gains will be more substantial. Or just port the L92

Here is the thread to read, the L92 truck flows a lot less, it all comes down to what you need.
