Default Ls3 intake on a L92

what must I change or modify? This application is in a street rod and only will have a altenator to deal with, and have all ready remounted it down low on the drivers side. My tunner says that he sees 25 to 35 more HP with the LS3 manifold, so I guess that I am up for the drill.

You should be able to use the L92 pump but it may not clear the DBW TB. But depends on the TB. You could always flip the TB up side down since you done have the alt bracket in the way.

Dont get your hopes up. Ive seen them tested before. Same dyno results, same airflow measured through the engine even.

Itll look nicer though!

If you have an L92 water pump you might have to clearance it a little for the throttle body.

I am not sure where you are getting your data from but as long as you don't plan on revving past 5600, have a very small cam, they are ok, over that they get killed by the car style intake. Richard from WCCH had a whole thread on the comparison on here, not even close in terms of flow.

You won't get 35 hp but they are not even.

Default Ls3 2010 Camaro intake onto L92

I changed the Map sensor to a screw in type and rerouted the PCV from drivers rear to passenger front Throttle body. Kept the waterpump with the Truck throttle body. Its tight but it fits. Rest just bolts on.

i had to run a 1" spacer between my holley 90mm TB and LS3 intake, using LQ4 truck accessories and and L92 water pump. the alt bracket also had to be trimmed, although you don't have to worry about that. like problemchild said, the MAP sensor is retained w/ a bolt (not a clip), and you must adapt the harness accordingly (pinout).
