Default An alternative to seal your Super Victor intake to a Cathedral port head

How much interest is out there to be able to use your factory intake gaskets when sealing a Super Victor intake to a set of cathedral port heads ??

Currently your only option is to use a 1 time use cork gasket and some sealer

You would now use the factory intake port seals

We just finished up the programming process to machine grooves around your intake ports to be able and use a set of factory reusable rubber gaskets instead. The fit is perfect. We also extended the measurements out .010 to give
you a little more room on the chance your intake runners have been ported

We used a factory ls2 intake for the maching specs..

And have come up with (the test piece is closer to the camera then the intake itself is so it makes the machined piece look bigger than it really is)

Tomorrow we will be machining the grooves directly into the intake and I will get some updated photos...

So I am wondering who all out there would be interested in having there intake ports machined to accept the factory reusable gaskets instead of a 1 time use cork gasket ??

This way there is no chance of a leak
You can pull the intake off without having to buy new gaskets
You will have a much cleaner look without gasket material sticking out

That is very nice work. I would be interested, but price and turn around time weigh the most in deciding on the move.

I knew this question was going to be ask..
At this point to get the word out and to get the actual word out everyone
we are looking at $120 This will include the price of shipping your intake around
and we would like to set the machine up 1 day a week to try and keep from having to make this a 1 off deal for everyone..
I we could get like a run of 10 at a time we could drop the price per intake down to around $100 shipped..

Ok, after looking at a few different intakes it looks like the regular victor intake
already has the grooves machines in but the Super Victor doesnt so this thread will
apply to the Super Victor.. I have no idea why they stopped doing this on the Super Victor but I would like to offer it to anyone interested..

I am very interested as I am looking and purchasing the super victor within the next few months and having this done would suit my setup perfectly.

Cheers!
