Harmonic Balancer

I'm currently buttoning up a stroker 6.0, and was curious about the harmonic balancer.

Can the stock one work? I know that the motor is 0 balance, but if the stock one will work, it can save me a bit of money to move on to other parts for the car.

If I'm not mistaken it is according to what vehicle you are installing the engine into. I am putting a LS3 based stroker in my 02 Z28 and am running an LS1 pulley and accessories from my original LS1.

It's going in a mustang. I plan on using an F body alternator and water pump (or truck for that matter) I just want the low mount so hood clearance isn't an issue.
