Question No power to my fuel pump

I've replaced my fuel pump but now I have no power going to the pump, the gas guage isn't working either. Fuse and relay are good. Any suggestions on what could be the problem. Loose or pinched wire? When I tried to jump the relay it popped my fuse, anyone have any suggestions?

Ground wires? Did the pump have power before you replaced it? Pump may have been fine. Make sure you have power to relay...then going to pump...Go back over everything you did. With me it is usually something stupid I did or did not do.
