Performance of Stock LS3 Intake?

Default Performance of Stock LS3 Intake?

How much power are the ls3 intakes good for?
I got a stock ls1 intake and know it's not enough for my 6.0 (stock pistons)...so i was thinking of getting an ls3 intake rails and injectors and putting them on l92s milled .030". How well would that combo perform? They can't be that great, all the 2010 owners are taking them off already lol.

ls1/ls6 intake have cathetral port and ls3 have rectangular port.

Not interchangeable!!!

Seems to be hard to make much more power than the stock ls3 intake if i were u i'd do milled cnc l92 with hollow intakes and use a tall single plane like cary's thats the way to go and do a 4150 tb, u got alot more room under the hood in a 3rd gen

I'd do that if i could fit it under my hood, but i can't. I could get a cowl but the cost of the hood plus paint > Fast 102.

Simply put how much rwhp have people made on ls3 intakes?

i made 523/467 SAE with a ported LS3 manifold on my 403LS2

The LS3 intake performs very well. The FAST 102 has a hard time beating it until you get into bigger cubes. Lots of LS3's in the 500 whp range on the stock intake. As for porting it? I've read a TON of mixed opinions and have as of yet to see a back to back dyno test on same car, same cam etc that proved gains.

508 hp with a LS3 intake through a 102 lid and a 85mm MAF and a Holly 90mm T-body. This is on a 416 hyd. roller. It pulled till 7150 rpm. They make a nice factory looking motor.
