Default Ignition Harness Routing

I am rerouting my ignition coil pack harness due a slight change in the mounting location of the coils, and I really did not like the appearance of the factory harness.

Is there any reason I should not route the harness under the plug wires as shown in the picture? Possible mis-fire issues due to interference from the coil firing is my main concern.

Appearance is one thing, performance is better..

protect the harness wiring with something and you should be fine.
