Default LSX Block/Stock Manifold 5th Gen

Just sat the new stroker in the car (5th gen Camaro) and now discovered that the driver side manifold want bolt up,It's hitting the last 2 studs, cause of the 6bolt configuration on the X heads,Don't think shorties will help me,cause I've got a 3" pipe coming by the exhaust,(Turbo),any advice or knowledge on modifying the stock manifold would be awesome,Suck's cause I've already had everything ceramic coated...........Thanks in total advance

All you can do is drill the holes that don't line up in the manifolds larger......no?

Take another look at the pics,The holes on the manifold are'nt the problem..Their actually bolted up,and pulled up as far as it'll go..The problem is the the manifold is hitting the back two studs on the LSX Block/Heads,Was hoping someone around the country thats on the board, has already dealt with this and will chime in,But I might be the only one running stock manifolds, and did so because of turbo setup, most people are putting headers on,but Thanks for looking....

Can you get a header flange to go between the head and manifold as a spacer? It won't look very goo, but might work.

I see what you're saying, you're probably going to have to get some custom turbo headers made, since that stock manifold obviously isn't going to fit.

If you get the right one you may not even notice it at all.

Great Idea
