Hey NemeSS,

The intakes you're referring to are already out and should be available for order at any of the regular places you'd purchase aftermarket automotive parts.

Here's a Summit Racing link for example:

http://www.summitracing.com/search/?...=300-116&dds=1

Good luck.

Don't hold your breath. "Image not available" and "Estimated Ship Date: 5/30/2011" are dead giveaways the product is not yet available...

I almost ditched my cathedral port heads to get this intake. I would still be waiting.

I have one, it was shipped direct from holley thru Scoggins Dickey.i'm using the carb lid and two 4 barrels. It is awesome but im still waiting to track test it. I will run saturday at No Problem raceway and i will post gains. It is so tall i swapped cowl hood for 9" tall snorkel hood on my Nova. Very nice piece and really good port line up with my L92 heads. Linkage was a challenge but i am using my Holley SBC linkage kit with a extra handmade mount bracket to get it right.

it would be better if they made a shorter version to fit under street car hoods

In my opinion any reduction in height would be from shortening runner length, that would detract from the performance of this design. It has a generous plenum volume with carb lid. EFI appears smaller in size.

That would be pointless, there's already enough short intakes that will fit in damn near anything to justify that.

This was made to fill a void, and to give people sheet metal type performance without the price... it will likly work very well for it's intended purpose.

Also, anyone that needs an intake like this, will do what's needed to make it fit. Putting this on a street driven car with anything less then a full blown race engine would be a waste of time.

A better question is does anyone actually have one yet?

Summit lists it as available 09/05/11 and I bet in a few days, it'll get pushed back later as well.

Summit has just been pushing it back a week every week since it was first on their website. Vaporware, like the street warrior.
