No rpm on tach, any help???
Alright I'm having a issue on my new install. I have a LS3 416 build. After install and hook up of everything I don't get a rpm signal on my tach or snap -on scanner. It popped up a cam sensor code, so I thought it was the new wirring extension that now goes to the front of the motor( because of the ls2 cover). But after running a new extension it changed nothing. Don't remember the code, but it was a 300 something. Sometimes it is hard to crank, but when it is crunk it idles fine and made realy good power on the dyno. My car is a 2000 camaro SS. The cam sensor is new, the wirring extension has been swapped out for a new one. Still no tach signal, what gives???? Anything else I should do?? The engine was built by LME and made awesome power, so I know it was put together right. I have no other walls to beat my head on, so what else should I look for or do?
