I have a ls4 5.3 truck engine 2008, would like to change to car style intake and still use my throttle body. could anyone tell me what manifold to look for thanks

 

uh...... a LS4 is a front wheel drive engine, found in the monte carlo ss, impala ss, etc.

 

sorry I was told it was an ls Iv engine. It came out of a 2008 h8 hummer with this classification for the accessories mounting for the hummer chassis. This could be wrong.... any ways looking for an car style intake to fit my 2008 5.3 engine? any help thanks

 

I think the engine should be a generation four not and ls Iv sorry.

 

They meant its a GEN IV engine, GEN III is like the LS1. Im not sure which manifolds can be used on trucks, I believe LS6 intakes can, but I know anything but a truck intake you will lose low end.
