Default ls3 reluctor wheel?

Purchasing a 427 stroker kit for my ls3 from TSP soon, and want to know what reluctor wheel I need? I dropping it in a 74 camaro with a t56 behind it. My options are 24 or 58 teeth? What does the reluctor wheel actually do?

what pcm are you using? that will determine which reluctor wheel you need. The reluctor wheel tells the computer at what point the crank is in its rotation. At least from my understanding.

I think I'm going to go with the e38?? GMPP has a complete wiring kit with gas pedal and sensors for like 850 bucks and it's a pcm the fits 4th gen motors i.e. ls2 ls3 and the ls7?

LS2 GTO were 24x, LS2 corvette was a mix of 24x and 58x . LS3, and LS7 are 58x. I'm not so 100% sure on the LS2, but LS3 and LS7 are 58x for sure.

Ah thank you so much!! That clears alot up, but I have one more question about an intake. I want to go with a FAST 102mm intake and TB from TSP. I'm putting this in my 74 camaro, does it already have a cable driven pedal? I can get the new intake and TB in cable driven or electronic, and I am assuming the pedal assembly that comes in the GMPP (part number19201861) package is electonic?? If my current pedal will work with a cable driven method I'll just keep it installed, but if for some reason it won't work and the GMPP pedal needs to be installed, I have no clue which version of TB i should order. Confusing enough for you??? haha

yes very confusing enough, im not an expert at second gen swaps what so ever, but u defiantly do not have a electronic throttle pedal in your 74, so it is cable driven. How easy is it hook your existing pedal up to a cable throttle body? i dont know.... lol. but i would guess it isnt that hard. So i guess it would be a personal preference if you go cable or electronic. Some people say electronic has a slight lag......... is it true.... i have no idea..... If u end up going cable throttle body get a F.A.S.T and not a nick williams, the reason being is that the F.A.S.T. 102mm cable driven throttle body has certain provisions to make it more streetable.

That makes sense, I don't think it should be hard to mate my pedal with a FAST TB. That is probably what I will do then, just get a cable driven TB and keep my stock pedal.
