Default Anyone ever had this happen??
blipped the throttle about a mile from my house and sounded like it shredded the belt.....popped the hood and only 1 rib had shredded off so I shut the hood and drove home.

Got home and noticed this:



where that large identation is in the tensioner pulley the aluminum A/C line had actually got sucked up into the pulley

One or both of the bearings in either of those pulleys was bad and it was too much. Pretty common. Usually makes noise well before that happens tho.

Nice!!!! Never seen both of them do that at the same time. Chances are one caused the other. Thats pretty good.
