Also the EGR is slightly different as you cap the hole in the drivers side valve cover and use the line coming out of the valley cover instead which is plugged from the factory on the trucks. The PCV system is under the valley cover so you dont need a PCV valve either. You use the pipe on the passenger side valve cover for filtered fresh air inlet.
There is no EGR on an LS2............. your referring to the PCV

The reason people are replacing the ls2 intake to the ls3 is because they are also using ls3 heads because the ls2 has a large enough bore to run them. The ls2 intake sucks and the ls6 flows better.
