Default FAST 102 hitting Oil Sending switch

Upon pulling off the FAST 102 for a stage 2 intake port on the LS7 heads, the Oil press sending unit was cracked and with a slight push, it broke off.

While re installing the FAST, I noticed that the back intake was hitting the Pressure switch.

I used a file and filed off about 1/8 of in inch on the boss just to the right of the 2nd bolt that holds the top half on.

I called FAST ( Comp ) and dude on the tech line said he'd never heard of it?

I'm using a LS2 block and a LS2 /LS6 valley cover.

Anyone else seen this ? I'm pretty sure the first switch was the original one. I grabbed a new one from SDPC and it looked the same.

I installed the FAST while the engine was in the car so really could not see if it hit or not.

yes,, my fast 102 also hit my oil pressure sender,, i had to re-tighten the sender to turn the connector just a bit to get the intake to fit,, but it is still sitting right against the connector

I assume you had the block sleeved for a 4.125 bore or so?

Thats strange, I wonder if you can use the corvette style pressure sender, its quite a bit shorter.

Default Bore size

4.185 Darton Dry Sleeves, n no problems with them. Thx to Steve @ R E D !

Corvette sender ? Dunno. I filed the FAST there where it hit and it hit no more. Can't see it now as it's in the car and running. No leaks so that's a good sign !

There is no such thing as a bolt on part in the car game. Good info thanks . If it states that the part simply bolts then look out.
