Default Can you decode this engine tag to verify what it is?

Guy swears it is the L92. But he also swears it came out of a 2007 silverado Z71. So I don't know which is right. He sent me this picture. Is it possible to decode what it is from the tag? I can barely make out the casting number and google isn't helping me much. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The part number on the block just below the tag is indeed a L92/LS3 block

Thank you. I thought the 8 was a 6.
