muffler replacement for slp lm
muffler replacement for slp lm I am getting my 98 camaro Z28 cammed with headers and a cat delete. What's on my car now is an slp loud mouth resonator. I need information on what muffler I may be able to swap out with it because my car will be wayyyy too loud for new york cops so I want to put a good performing muffler on exactly where the slp one is, I can't stand getting more loud exhaust tickets.

you don't have alot of options, another bullet type muffler is all thats going to work on the Loud Mouth. It may be quieter depending on what bullet muffler you go with but not much quieter. Another option you might consider is the slp powerflo add on mufflers for the loudmouths. A more expensive option but cheaper than getting another catback.
SLP makes a upgrade kit to their Powerflo system, you replace your bullets for powerflo mufflers. Pretty nice set up and it looks like true duals. SLP part number 31086. You can get it here http://juicedmotorsports.com/LS1FBODYEXHAUST.html

I also have the Borla XR1 and love it. It's pretty quiet and idle and deep when just cruising around. When you put you foot all the way down though, it's about as loud as LM2 but with much better tone and sound.
