I have had a good look at what is out there and most of the throttle body's cable turn direct from the the spindle and this is not progressive linkage in any way shape or form .

The shape of the cam on stock throttle bodies vary the rate at which the blade opens. Stock throttle bodies also have a lip that is machined into the lower part of the bore which limits the amount of air that goes in at low throttle blade angles. I believe the only aftermarket throttle body that has the same feature is the one made by Holley.
