Default ~LS6 Valley cover PCV system adequate for 427?

I'm getting quite a bit of pressure out of my driver's side rear valve cover vent. It makes a tea kettle type whistle after the motor heats up and if I pull the hose there is a "whoosh" blow off of pressure.

Has anyone had this type of problem and how did you remedy? I was thinking of maybe installing a check valve along the hose that connects the valve covers, but would that defeat the purpose of the PCV? I have the LS6 valley cover PCV set up.

If I block off the hose and run a metco breather in the driver's side valve cover the pressure issues are eliminated. But I've deduced that since this is primarily a street car cruiser I shouldn't vent to atmosphere.

I currently have the saiko-michi dual catch can system set up. Rest of build is below in sig. Maybe the increased displacement and compression is too much for the stock, well, LS6, PCV set up?

Help or advice would be appreciated.
