I have ls2 build,was going to use elect pump,but still thinking about using the stock pump,so if i use the truck crank pulley,truck water pump and add the 1/4 in motor place now my water pump is out of line ,who is already past this problem and can shed some light here???

need help here lol

Have you checked a car pump with the plates on? Or you might be able to press the truck pulley farther down on the shaft.

i did try to press the pulley little futher back on shaft ,did not seem to move much.i have not tryed a car pump yet,good idea...

The car pump will still be ~.50" off. There is ~.75" distance variance between the different accessory drives (4th gen vs truck). If you do use the car water pump, you could probably get some water pump spacers made in the thickness you need.

Check out the last post. 1/4" might get you to a workable distance. That, or move the car pump pulley too.
