Horsepower Gained Mods?? i have a 2002 Pontiac Trans am, completely stock right now besides just having a K&N filter in with the stock air lid and a Magnaflow cat back exhaust. I want to wake this beast up more and was hoping you guys could give me a good start to really start to gain horsepower before i do or should say save up for a cam and heads setup. Thanks for reading and your opinions
is it an A4 or M6? if it's an A4 i say get a stall....it's the best mod money can buy for an auto......aside from that, you've got a LS6 intake so you're good there....next i would do a lid and headers....thats pretty much all i've got done to my car aside from a few suspension parts and i'm running bottom 12's with horrible DA....
a tune will help a lot as well....but if you plan on doing heads/cam i would wait till afterwards to get a tune....

yeah it is an automatic, i had a few of those mods in mind to do, thanks for the extra help

a good tune would wake it up a bit, just deleting or reducing torque management makes a nice SOTP difference...but if you're really wanting to "wake it up" then a cam is the only way to go after you have the appropriate supporting mods

This is the Gen IV section, i bet if post in the Gen III section you will get 10x more replys. This section is pretty slow compared to the Gen III section. But all the information provide in the couple previous replies are pretty dead on, on a good place to start.
