427 Build Questions

427 Build Questions Not sure where to put this in Gen III or IV move it if it needs to be.
I'm thinking about building a 427 for my Camaro, I have a lot of questions and im sure I'll come up with more over time!
1. Would it be more cost effective to buy a LSx/LS7 or bore and stroke a 6.0 block? I really don't care about Iron Vs Aluminum since my cars a heavy pig anyways.
2.Could I use a factory crank?
3.I'll be getting a custom cam threw PatG (I love the one he speced out for me on my LS1) what heads would be the best bag for the buck? I was thinking L92's.
