GM does have plans for a TT V6 to compete with Ford Ecoboost. Looks to be going in the small Caddy SUV first.

I cant see a cast in head exhaust design for the new v8's. They have to fit into too many different applications for this to make sense. One of the biggest things I love most about GM is their fantastic ability to create modular systems that cross platform extremely well.

Isn't dodge already using some sort of cam in cam for vvt in their hemi's and/or the viper? That with AFM and Direct injection will be sick......BRING ON THE BOOST!!!!

Default Questions????

Is there anyway the new V-8 could be 32V like the Duramax Engine? What would be the problems with a 32 valve set up similiar to the 2011Durmax? If the Cam/Cams are move higher in the the block like SB RO7, how high could the OHV engine possibly rev?

I heard it was goin to be a 327 smallblock with a supercharger producing 440 hp for the c7 corvette. I have the GM performance catalog for 2010 and it is a

327 ci
3.780 bore
3.620 stroke
9.5 compression

Suppose to be very fuel efficent. We shall see.
Thats why I bought my 6.2L and holding on to that.

Hi everyone. I have been lurking around reading and this is going to be my first post. I am based in Europe and thinking of building a Ultima GTR powered with a LS3 or 7 next year. Our emission standards are changing on Jan 1, 2012 and it will be necessary to have engines meeting EURO 5 emission standards. The LS series meet EURO 3 but does anybody know if a new GM V8 would meet these new standards. I imagine so, or else nothing could be sold in Europe. Any more info available?
Thanks
