Default LS3 Steam Tube Question

I am doing an LS swap in a Cobra kit car. In my car I have a remote radiator filler in the upper radiator hose. Can I drill and tap a hose barb into the remote filler for the steam tube? And also do I need a pressurized overflow tank for the cooling system. Thanks for any help!

As long as the steam tube is below the water level it should work just fine. You should be able to use any style puke bottle, put the pressure cap on your remote fill neck and run a line to the bottle, make sure there is no air in the system and fill the bottle half full and you'll be good.
