need some advice on heads and cam.

I have a 2001 fire bird formula. Am looking to instal stage one heads, cam .234 competition, and rockers springs and lifters, and headers. What should I know before I dive in this to help me not get screwed. And to ensure I get a good job done. Also is adding these mods going to keep me from passing inspection. Is there something else that should be done adding these mods? Injectors ect. Thanks in advance.

You should post this in the gen III section and you'll need to include what cam with specs which heads with specs and which valve springs you'll be running?

Why Gen 3? It is a 4th Gen bird. I'm new at Modding and just wanted advice on Modding.
Heads are stage one.
.234 competition cam
Springs don't know yet. Which ones are needed for these upgrades.

Ok, GEN III (LsX) are the Ls1's the Lq4's Lq9's
GEN IV are Ls2,L99,Ls3,Ls9,LSA etc etc

It's not the body style gen3 or Gen 4 lol

Besides what you are describing STILL means nothing, where are you getting them from?

.234 comp cam? What is that ? What are the specs?
Is it a 234/234 with .234 lift on a 234 LSA?

Who's stage one heads? Are the Texas speed? Wcch? Lingenfelter? Livernois?

Find out the info bud, or post a link please.

Never mind. I found the answers elsewhere with same info I provided here. No need to be a ***** dude. Just cause you know something someone else does not know.

That's what I get for being the only one responding to your thread a dick I'm not! No need to be that here, if anything I usually try to help. In all honesty I was only trying to help man. Just trying to see what parts you were talking about. But G/L modding bud,
