Default is it possible to delete dbw for cable

Just picked up a 2008 6.2 and is going into a foxbody and was wondering if I can ditch the dbw for a cable style throttle body or if its even possible...or what would be the next easiest way to run in a swap....thanks...

ECU wont understand what happened with idle control

+closed to open loop transition will be screwed as it wont see the TPS
+traction control wont work
+ETC rpm limiting wont work
+again, should be open loop SD tune only

but idle - the main question

Later ecus have no provision for IAC.
You would need an ecu that has IAC capability and runs a 58x crank reluctor. Or get a 24 to 58x converter and use a 24x ecu.
By far the easiest would be get the dbw pedal.

By far the easiest it to get a carb conversion with a square port VicJr intake and the MSD ignition for a 58x wheel...

Why not just run the DBW setup? It's really easy to use and if you can do an engine swap I'm sure you can figure out how to mount a pedal. I'm running the stock DBW setup in my RX7 and it works great. Most people don't even realize it's electric after they drive it, at least until they stare under the hood for a minute or so.
